Is mobile grooming more costly than generic grooming?
Yes, not too much more though. For that extra money, you get the convenience of not making 2 trips to your local grooming shop and having to wait approximately 4 hours in between drop-off and pick-up time. Your pet will also benefit from a less stressful environment with no barking dogs, no cages, and no wait time, with only us grooming your pet each and every time.
Which areas to do service?
Mamaroneck, Larchmont, Rye, Harrison, Port Chester, New Rochelle, Scarsdale and Eastchester
HOW CAN I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?
You may inquire about scheduling an appointment by calling Dan directly @ 914-413-9753, emailing us at wagngroomNY@gmail.com or filling out our online form.
Will my dog be in a cage?
No. One of the perks to mobile grooming is that we have absolutely no cages. The groomer will be present with your dog the entire time.
How long will the grooming take?
Pet grooming is largely dependent on the breed of the animal and the type of service requested, but on average, we should have your pet fully groomed in 1-2 hours.
What is your cancelation policy?
In the event you need to cancel your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so that we can fill your spot. Failure to call in advance or failure to have your pet available for the grooming service may result in a charge of $30 which will need to be paid prior to scheduling your next appointment. We understand there may be emergency situations and will always do our best to work with you.
Can I watch my pet be groomed?
Answer to question 6
Where do your vans get their water and power from?
Our vans are fully self-contained and require no water of power from your home.
How much does a grooming cost?
No professional groomer is going to give you an “exact” price for grooming over the telephone or online until they have seen your pet and have discussed the factors that make your pet unique. There are just too many variables that come into play. Learn more about our pricing here.
My dog is really, really matted, what can you do for him?
We offer a relaxing, pain free grooming experience for your pet. If your pet is severely matted, a shave down will be recommended using the longest length blade that will penetrate the mats. If this is not acceptable to you, you might want to comb out the mats with particular attention to the stomach, underarms, and behind the ears before I arrive. Just remember, it is more humane to cut down the coat and start all over again than to de-mat a heavily matted coat. Also, decreasing the time between appointments and/or settling for a different coat style could be discussed at this time.
My dog is scared of water and hates being groomed.
We can help. As groomers, we are used to handling reluctant dogs that don't want to be bathed or groomed. We use lots of pampering, TLC, and the occasional doggie treat.
